NEW RESTO ALERT: Huma Mediterranean Cuisine

Had an unplanned trip to S Maison Conrad last weekend and ended up dining at Huma Mediterranean Cuisine. We've also been craving for some shawarma since last week so we're happy to dine at Huma.

The place looks posh and expensive so we were mildly surprised when we saw that the prices are quite reasonable.

Tzatziki, P240. It comes with three pieces of pita bread placed inside a hat-like container to maintain its warmth.

Fried Kalamare, P300. Super love this, and the fries that comes with it, too! It comes with a yogurt dip which we really liked a lot so we requested for an extra serving.

Shawarma Laham, P400 and  Sawded Dajaj, P200. The shawarma comes with Tahini sauce that we all find bitter so we opted to dip the shawarma in the yogurt and the tzatziki sauce. Sawded Dajaj is grilled liver in pomegranate sauce. Really, really good! My daughter was asking me when are we going back to Huma because she wanted to order the liver again.

The restaurant was a bit full when we arrived so I wasn't able to take photos properly except for these nice colorful lamps which reminded me of Murano glass.

What I love best at Huma is that the sauces / dip that came with the food doesn't taste the same. So if you like it garlicky, or maybe bitter, or sweet, just ask the waiters for some recommendation.

Added bonus when we dined was the Pyromusical show. You can either reserve a table in the veranda but you need to shell out at least P1,500 or get a table that has a view of the bay. ;)
