Late Dinner at Brotzeit

It was an unplanned dinner since we were supposed to go to Pasay City for the PyroMusical but ended up in Ortigas. Then we got distracted with shopping (who doesn't?) so by the time we felt hungry, the restaurants inside the mall were closed already. Luckily, hubby suggested Brotzeit.

We've been to Brotzeit more than a couple of times and we love the food, hubby loves the German beer, and I love the Lychee Martini. We didn't order drinks though but as always, the food we ordered were kinda predictable ---

Huhnerwurst or Spicy Chicken Sausage, P460. This are spicy chicken sausage with Potatoes and Sauerkraut. Hubby's favorite. The sauerkraut is shredded cabbage with some spices and vinegar. Similar to "achara" except that it has some different spices. Serving size is good for sharing.

Fladen Bayrische or Bavarian Fladen, P540. This is basically German flatbread with toppings a.k.a. pizza. It has bacon, ham, red and green peppers, etc. Really, really delicious. Thumbs up! Serving size is good for sharing also. What I like best is that it has generous toppings.

Gulaschuppe or Goulash Soup, P120. This spicy beef soup is perfect for my itchy throat. The beef was so tender and the soup, flavorful. Can't wait to go back to Brotzeit and order this again. You can also opt to order a bowl of Goulash for P190. There are two kinds of bread slices that comes with the soup, a hard bread and the dark rye with cumin.
