Bondi & Bourke Opens in Bonifacio Global City

Good food and having a relaxed atmosphere to dine and chill after work is what Bondi & Bourke has to offer. There’s no such thing as frills when it comes to dining at this restaurant. In fact, Chef Wade Watson credits the success of the restaurant to atmosphere, service, and hardworking staff, and that’s the reason why the opened up a new branch in Bonficacio Global City (BGC).

Chef Wade is a multi-awarded Australian chef and owner, who is known for his straightforward, comfort food favorites and uses only the best ingredients. He has cooked around the world, especially in Canada and Australia, as has been the Executive Chef of Lan Kwai Fong group in Hong Kong. He also used to be the Executive Chef of Abaca Boutique Resort in Cebu.

Bondi & Bourke offers a wide selection of imported meats and seafood, choices of U.S., Australian, and Creekstone Prime rib-eye steaks, Australian lamb chops, snapper fillets that is usually paired with delectable side dishes. Must-try is the best-selling Mussel and Oyster selections: Spicy Red Thai Curry, Moules Mariniere, Kilpatrick, Mornay, and Fresh-shucked with mignonette.

Warm Mushroom Salad. A very refreshing and light salad. I was a bit hesitant to try this since it has mushrooms and I don't want to spoil my appetite but not only it's delicious, the combination of ingredients and dressing are not heavy on the tummy.

Roasted Prime Rib-Eye with Sides. And here's the reason why I almost skipped the salad and canapes- steak! Perfect medium although by the time we all finished taking photos, it was medium well already. The meat was tender and juicy, and so perfect with the mashed potato. Ooops, sorry no mashed potato photo.

Dining at Bondi & Bourke is an amazing experience itself, not only because of the relaxed ambiance, and good food but because the serving portions are also good for sharing. There’s also a wide selection of wines and bubblies.

Prawn Cocktail. Enjoyed this with my glass of Veuve Clicquot. Sante'!

Sausage Rolls and Mini Pies. Now this is l-o-v-e. Don't get fooled by the size. These tasty sausage rolls and mini pies are so filling! I prefer the pies though because it is filled with steak. Yum! ;)

Sticky Toffee Pudding. Saving the best for last, which happens to be dessert. Really sticky toffee goodness! I was thinking of just having a few bites but I can't help but ate a whole pudding. And I want another one. :D
