We passed by the front entrance which is along the main road, although from Azalea Hotels & Residences, you can walk along the stretch of beach till you reach Mamitas, maybe 10-15 minutes walk.
Aside from food, Mamitas also serve alcoholic drinks. This is inside the restaurant.
Crispy Pata. What's a dinner without this mouthwatering crispy pata? The skin is a bit chewy though. Maybe its because we ate outside (al fresco). But it was good nonetheless.
Kare-Kare. The photo didn't do justice but it was very delicious, the meat and tripe was tender and flavorful. My only complain was that it doesn't have enough veggies, hahaha. And it has a thick peanut sauce- yummy! This is one of those times that I wish I still eat rice. *sigh*
Grilled Squid. Wasn't able to taste this because I'm full of crispy pata and kare-kare already. It looks tiny though, got overcooked, I think.. hehe
Chopsuey with seafood. Another great dish at Mamitas. You can actually taste how fresh the seafood is.
This is Boracay's famous shoreline. Fine white sand and azure sea (you can admire the color of the sea during daylight only). Also, lowtide is in the afternoon to evening, so the water is really peaceful.
Here's Team Azalea, preferring to dine al fresco to enjoy the cool sea-breeze. The net behind us was to keep the sand away from the restaurant when its windy. They usually take down the net during the summer season.
