Saturdate At La Creperie And Serenitea; A Mom's Day Prelude

We were supposed to have a pre-Mom's Day dinner at MU Noodle Bar but all tables were already reserved when we arrived (I should've called in advance). The only available table was the bar table but the lamp was just too close and it felt hot sitting there. It's like we are being slowly-roasted. Di bale, will come back soon. After all, its just a few minutes away from our place.

Hubby suggested Alex III but I want to eat noodles. Kanzhu Hand Pulled Noodle Resto was also full- it was already past 7pm. So we ended up at La Creperie which is a family favorite. Think delicious crepes.

I love this table near the window. Pang-date! But we didn't sit there because the table was too small.

Hubby and I both ordered the baked fish.

Thumbs up. Flavorful. I'm glad that the curry sauce doesn't overpower the fish itself, otherwise, I would think that this is an Indian resto in disguise. Hubby's only complain was the rice- ang konti! He had to order an extra one. Good for sharing. On the other hand, I find the pyramid-shape of the rice unappetizing. But that's just me, the meal itself was delish!

Prawn Pomodoro for daughter.

Thumbs up. The pomodoro sauce is l-o-v-e. However, the prawn was overcooked, but daughter enjoyed it so no harm done. I'm definitely going to order this on our next visit. I'll just remind the waiter to tell the chef not to overcook the prawn. The serving is also good for sharing.

And dining at La Creperie wouldn't be complete without ordering crepe for dessert. We skipped the tea since daughter is craving for milktea.

Salted Caramel Crepe.

Two thumbs up! This is our super favorite at La Creperie. We can eat tons of this except that you need to drink lots of water or tea since the sweetness is hidden under the salty caramel taste. Yumyum.

After dinner, daughter didn't give us a chance to rest and relax our tummy. Went to Serenitea which is a few meters away from La Creperie.

We just had a large order of Hokkaido Milktea and a single order of pepper corn. Still too full. Glad that I'm wearing a dress- hahaha.
