Make It A Tradisyon At Azalea Residences Baguio

"One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well." - Virginia Woolf

We've been to Baguio last month and we got to stay at Azalea Residences again, and of course, dined at Tradisyon. Tradisyon is Azalea Residences restaurant and it serves mostly Pinoy comfort food aside from International cuisine favorites. Another notable trademark of Tradisyon Restaurant is that the staff are very courteous and attentive to the diners needs.

And aside from serving good ol' comfort food that's perfect for the Baguio weather, Tradisyon has a nice view of the surrounding area. Breakfast diners are always trying to get a table in this area with the glass wall.

So here's what we ate:

Stir-fry Pusit, P230. I love nicely plated dishes or what I call, "photogenic" dishes, and this Stir-fry Pusit fits that description perfectly. The serving is good for sharing.

Bagnet, P250. Look at that fat! Yummy. Its hard to resist these serving of bagnet. It comes with atchara but you can request for some vinegar if prefer it (like I do). Serving portion is good for sharing.

Pork Sinigang, P250. Ate pork sinigang for two consecutive nights. My daughter and I were supposed to meet my husband for dinner somewhere in Session Road but it was raining that night so we decided to just stay inside the hotel and eat dinner at Tradisyon. We decided to order sinigang since having a hot and sour broth seem to be a nice pair for that rainy night.

Kare-Kare, P290. A hefty serving of delicious kare-kare. If people will ask me what's my favorite Filipino dish, I will say that kare-kare is one of my favorites. And Tradisyon Restaurant's beef and ox-tripe dish didn't disappoint. Good for sharing, 2-3 pax.

Crispy Pata, P380. On our last night in Azalea Residences, we decided to have dinner at Tradisyon Restaurant again. Hubby opted for the Mongolian Buffet, while daughter and I decided to order the crispy pata. It was quite huge and can be shared by 3-4 pax. Thumbs up!

Tradisyon Pinoy Comfort Food is open from 6am to 10pm daily. Walk-in diners are also welcome at Tradisyon. During breakfast, hotel guests can enjoy the breakfast buffet from 6am - 10am. And then on during dinner from Wednesday to Saturday, Tradisyon serves different themes of buffet every night (Italian, Mongolian, Mexican, Chinese Hot Pot, and Pizza & Salad Buffet). There's also a Weekend Brunch Specials which is from Friday to Sunday.

Tradisyon Restaurant has a seating capacity of about 70 pax. For more details or reservation, you may call -- (074) 4248712 or (074) 4248713.
