Dinner With Good Friends at Mario's

One of the nicest things about close friends is that you may not see each other as often as you like but when you do, it means long hours of "chikahan" and "kainan." Of course, going to a nice restaurant that serves good and wholesome ambiance is also a factor to consider since most of the time, we have our kids with us.

We had Baked Oysters for appetizers. You'll know that the chikahan is gonna be great when there's oysters. ;)

Gambas. The kids love this! The shrimp is succulent and juicy. Best paired with rice.

Roast Beef with mashed potato. Daughter had this. Love at first bite, according to her.

Pan-grilled Gindara. For the health-conscious, but really, this is delish! Squeeze in some lemon on top, and take a sip of white wine, and you're all set for a great evening.

Lengua with mashed potatoes. I love this. the lengua is so tender.
