June is not just about going back to school. It also means The Maya Kitchen has a whole array of baking and cooking classes for everyone.
June 11: Cupcake Baking and Decorating (saturday, 9am-1pm)
Learn how to make peanut butter and chocolate chip cupcakes, coconut marshmallow, strawberries and cream, and cinnamon with cream cheese frosting. Class fee is P2,000.
June 11, 18, 25: Beginner's Cookery Weekend (Saturday, 9am-1pm)
This is a three Saturday session of learning how to make bread and pastries for Session 1 on June 11. Session 2 is all about soup and cooking with meat and fish dishes and that is on June 18. The third session is on June 25, and will highlight perfect roast dinner and simple desserts. Class fee for each session is P2,000.
June 7-10 and June 21-24: Certificate Course on Basic Baking (Tuesday to Saturday, 9am-2pm)
This is a 5-day basic baking class that includes basic baking techniques applicable to small and commercial scale production of recipes and formulations of quick breads, pies, cookies, cakes, and other bread varieties. Class fee is P8,000.
June 14-17 and June 28-July 1: Basic Culinary (Tuesday to Saturday, 9am-3pm)
This class will introduce cooking fundamentals and international standard techniques of meal preparation from soup, salad, pasta, main courses to dessert for home and institutional scale kitchens. Class fee is P9,000.
June 29 and 30: Commercial Breads 1 and 2 (Wednesday and Thursday, 9am-12nn)
Learn how to make bread. Class fee is P1,500 for each class.

Cupcake baking and decorating for kids ages 5-12 years old. Two class schedule to choose from. Class fee is P1,000.

Kids love cookies so they'll have fun making and decorating their own cookies. Two class schedule to choose from. Class fee is P1,000.
June 15: Basic Cakes (Wednesday, 9am-1pm)
This is a Young Bakers Hangout, a baking class designed for teens. Class fee is P1,500.
June 16: Basic Icing (Thursday, 9am-1pm)
This is a Young Bakers Hangout, a baking class designed for teens. Class fee is P1,500.
