NEW RESTO ALERT: Megawatt Burgers, Pizza and Pasta

The restaurant's name itself is kinda intriguing but having pizza, burgers, pasta, and burrito on its menu means go-go-go. Wow! All of my favorite food in one place. Yum!

So here's what we ate: mozzarella tots (thumbs up!), chicken pops, fries, and onion rings. I love the garlic dip. And pizza! This pizza is kinds interesting though because it is topped with salted eggs, bangus sisig, tomatoes and onions. It's called Viva Fiesta. It's like eating pizza and breakfast at the same time. Then there's that huge burrito- its called Pork Kimchi. Very filling and best shared. I couldn't possibly finish that order myself. And what's a party without some nachos, right?

Pepperoni pizza. I heart this, really. I also love it because its thin crust and doesn't taste like bread. Another notable pizza is the Cheese-Cheese-Cheese with six kinds of cheeses. Definitely for the cheese-lover. And there's the Megawatt Ultra Premium Pizza which has Foie Gras and Truffle extract. A bit expensive but really, really good. A gourmet pizza!

Here are the burgers: A.M.P. (Angus Megawatt Patty & hash brown, topped with egg), Crunchy Texas BBQ, Pulled Beef, and Crunchy Mushroom Melt. The size of the burgers are a bit overwhelming although I love, love the meaty and flavorful patties. I guess I had too much pizza to enjoy the burgers. *** reason to go back ;)

Chicken and Chips. If a favorite fastfood chicken has 11 herbs and spices, Megawatt's fried chicken has about 14 if my memory is correct. No need for sauce because it is very tasty, crispy and has tender meat inside. You just have to eat it as soon as it comes out of the kitchen.

Aside from the food that I've mentioned (and digested), Megawatt also serves rice meals, and soup pasta (Roast Mushroom Soup, and Fried Lasagna) ... another interesting dish to try on my next visit.

Btw, Megawatt uses solar panels to power-up the restaurant, and they use recyclable paper plates, cups, and utensils. And there's more ... available for sale (or for gawking at) are collectible toys, rubber shoes, and watches.
