4th Yoshinoya Gyudon Eating Challenge 2014

Now on its 4th year, the Yoshinoya Gyudon Eating Contest promises to be nothing short of exciting as more gyudon-lovers joined in on the Metro-wide contest.


Winners from each Yoshinoya branch will have a face-off during the final round at the Glorietta 3 Event Center.



This year's prizes get even better and bigger. First prize winner will receive P150,000 in cash and a roundtrip airfare via CebuPacific to Japan via Narita or Nagoya. Second place will receive P50,000 and third place gets P25,000. Non-winners will each receive consolation prizes of Yoshinoya GCs worth 2k.


At the Championship Match, the contenders has 15 minutes to eat the most bowls of gyudon. The top three finalists will be declared as winners.

2014 Gyudon Master Zermatt Liang Zhaoyuan flew all the way from Singapore just to join the contest and emerged as the winner by finishing off 8 bowls in 15 minutes. Congratulations !!!
