PRODUCT REVIEW: 3D Juice Extractor

Maybe because I've been cooped up at home since Sunday (thanks to Maring and habagat) that upon seeing the juice extractors at an appliance store in Greenhills, I didn't have a hard time making a decision to buy one. I've been reading a lot of articles about fruit and vegetable juices and its health benefits and I feel that investing in good health is better than investing in a health card. Also, my trusted blender needs a rest (not that its broken or anything but I just want it to rest for a while).

I've been eyeing an expensive brand at first but when the sales person tried to convince me that that juicer's quality is better because it is Japanese made, I asked where the other one was made. I opted to get the 3D Juice Extractor because it is Philippine made. :)

Features:

Durable stainless steel cutter disc
Micro Mesh Filter
Safety lock and overheating protection device
Wide feeding tube
500 ml capacity
250W
PhP 1,295

I wanted to get the other design with a much modern-looking color (gray) but when I asked about its wattage, its 350W compared to the 250W of this blue one so I ended up getting this. Another plus is the fact that this has a 2 pulse feature while the other one has only 1. Also, it has a brush cleaner included in the box while the other one has none. Not bad, right? Happy happy happy! Except for the color- hahaha.

I already road-tested the juicer twice already. My first juice combo was (apple + cucumber + carrot + malunggay), the second one was (apple + cucumber + carrot + ginger).

I'm glad to say that it didn't have any strange sounds such as the ingredients didn't get thru properly, it didn't get hot/overheat and it's very easy to clean. Also, the safety lock features worked perfectly since I did not properly attached the lids, the juicer remained turned OFF when I turned the dial ON.

To sum it up, this juicer is great. I'm not sure yet about its durability and how long it will last but I believe that it also depends on how one will take care of it.

    1. Oh that's sad ... did you bring it to the store to have it change or fixed since it is still covered by warranty?
