Yen Yen Taiwan Street Food

Because we weren't able to have dinner at Eat Fresh (didn't know that they're closed on Sundays!), daughter and I walked around Wilson area until we espied Yen Yen Taiwan Street Food. Now if you are familiar with Eat Fresh, you'll know that street food means food sticks. So we decided to eat at Yen Yen which is a few steps away from Santi's in Wilson.

The restaurant looks nice and clean because of its green and white theme. However, the place is small, maybe around 25 pax can eat (others can just buy take-outs, hehe). The waiters are courteous and generous with their smiles.

But upon checking the menu, we can't find the food sticks that we've been craving for. Oh wells, there's always another day or night for that. Now let's check what's on the menu. ;)

Salt & Pepper Ribs. This is so good! Love that its just with the right hint of spiciness, too. The ribs was tender. My only complain was that the vegetable sidings wasn't enough. Hehehe. Huge portion of rice also. Costs P170.00

Crispy Porkchop. Daughter ordered this. Had a bite and its flavorful and tender. No need for the sauce. I thought it was ketchup but its sweet-chili sauce that looks like ketchup. Costs P180.00.

Wintermelon Iced-Tea. Shared this drink with daughter. Tastes o-kay BUT I still prefer wintermelon milk tea. Daughter liked it since she ordered it. Costs P50.00. Actually, I was curious about the Butterfly Iced-Tea and was about to order that. I asked the waiter why the name. He said its like Nestea but sweeter. O-kay. Water please!

There are still a lot of interesting sounding choices on the menu so another visit is called for. Besides, its practically near our place. Yey!
